BarkClub policies
Privacy Policy.
A plain-language explanation of the information BarkClub collects and how it is handled.
Our approach
BarkClub collects only the information reasonably needed to answer inquiries, evaluate whether a dog may be a good fit, provide requested services, and operate the website. BarkClub does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Information we collect
Information you provide
- Your name and email address.
- Information you choose to share about your dog, including age, breed, energy level, behavior, routine, and preferred evaluation timing.
- If you become a client, contact, home-access, scheduling, emergency-contact, and dog-care information needed to provide the service.
- Messages, requests, and other information you send directly to BarkClub.
Information collected through the website
The inquiry form records the page you visited, referral information, and campaign source parameters so BarkClub can understand how an inquiry arrived. Hosting and security providers may also process standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, requested pages, and timestamps in server logs.
How information is used
- To respond to inquiries and schedule evaluations.
- To assess fit and provide pack-walking services.
- To communicate about scheduling, care, safety, and service changes.
- To understand which outreach sources produce genuine inquiries.
- To protect the website, prevent spam, maintain records, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations.
Service providers and disclosures
BarkClub uses service providers that process information only to support the business. These currently include Cloudflare for website hosting and security, Resend for inquiry and confirmation email delivery, and Google Fonts for website font delivery. Their handling of information is governed by their own terms and privacy practices.
Information may also be disclosed to professional advisers or public authorities when reasonably necessary to protect rights or safety, comply with law, or respond to valid legal process. BarkClub does not sell personal information.
Retention and security
Information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary to respond to an inquiry, provide services, maintain appropriate safety and business records, resolve disputes, and satisfy legal or accounting obligations. Records that are no longer needed are deleted or securely disposed of.
BarkClub uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including encrypted HTTPS transmission on the production website and access controls for service accounts. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices
You may ask BarkClub to provide, correct, or delete personal information associated with you by emailing hello@barkclub.com. BarkClub may need to verify the request and may retain information where reasonably necessary or legally required.
Cookies and tracking signals
The current website does not set advertising or analytics cookies. It records referral and campaign information submitted with an inquiry and emits on-page conversion events that are not connected to an advertising platform.
Because the site does not currently sell or share information for targeted advertising, it does not respond differently to browser “Do Not Track” signals or Global Privacy Control signals. If those practices change, this policy and the site’s controls will be updated before the change takes effect.
Children
The website is intended for adults seeking dog-care services and is not directed to children under 13. BarkClub does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Policy updates and contact
Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to hello@barkclub.com.
